Introduction

Polyester-cotton fabric refers to polyester-cotton blended fabric, with polyester as the main component, a textile woven from 60%-67% polyester and 33%-40% cotton mixed yarn. Polyester-cotton fabric is commonly known as cotton.

Features

1. It not only highlights the style of polyester but also has the advantages of cotton fabrics. It has good elasticity and wear resistance under dry and wet conditions, stable dimensions, small shrinkage, and is straight, not easy to wrinkle, easy to wash, and quick-drying. Features.

2. Disadvantages of polyester-cotton: The polyester fiber in polyester-cotton is a hydrophobic fiber, which has a strong affinity for oil stains, is easy to absorb oil stains, and is easy to generate static electricity during the wearing process to attract dust, it is difficult to wash, and can not be ironed at high temperature and Soak in boiling water.

The difference

"Polyester-cotton" fabric means that the composition of polyester accounts for more than 60%, and that of cotton is less than 40%; "cotton-polyester" fabric means the opposite, which means that the composition of cotton is more than 60%, and the composition of polyester is less than 40%. Cotton/polyester fabrics are not as strong and wear-resistant as polyester/cotton fabrics, but they are well-knit, but their moisture absorption performance is good, and the price is basically the same as pure cotton fabrics.
